Suicide Instructions Found on YouTube, YouTube Kids

A Florida pediatrician is raising alarms about suicide instructions on YouTube and YouTube Kids. Dr. Free Hess found the suicide instructions edited into clips of the popular Nintendo video game Splatoon. The directions are delivered by a man standing in front of what appears to be a green screen so he seems to be in the animated video. Dr. Hess posted the video on her PediaMom blog last week. Hess says YouTube took down the video after her blog post. She says she discovered and reported more than a half-dozen other disturbing videos on YouTube Kids last Friday.
