(Washington, DC) -- President Trump is throwing his support behind a Kentucky high school student's defamation lawsuit against the Washington Post. The lawsuit was filed by the family of Nick Sandmann, who was at the center of a January 18th confrontation in Washington, DC that went viral. The suit accuses the paper of falsely painting Sandmann as a racist and seeks 250-million dollars in damages. Trump quoted a portion of the lawsuit on Twitter yesterday morning that argues the paper is biased against him, calling the Post's stories on the confrontation fake news.
