(Houston, TX) -- Houston Texans star J.J. Watt will deliver the commencement speech in May at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, his not-quite alma mater. Watt was a star defensive lineman at the school, but he left before his senior year to sign on with the Texans in 2011. In a social media post about his upcoming speech, Watt broadly hinted that he wouldn't mind if the university decided to give him an honorary degree. Baylor College of Medicine gave Watt an honorary degree in 2018 in recognition of his efforts to help Houston recover from Harvey.
