(Denver, CO) -- A bull rider is dead after a bull stepped on him during a Professional Bull Riders event in Denver this week. Mason Lowe was fatally injured when a bull stomped on his chest after throwing him during competition in the National Western Stock Show Tuesday night.
Lowe died at a nearby hospital. The 25-year-old rough stock rider from Exeter, Missouri was ranked 18th in the world in current PBR standings. Lowe was in his seventh season as a professional bull rider.
