In North Houston- Police say a father and son are dead after a SWAT standoff ended with an apartment fire at the Garden Oaks Village Apartments. Authorities say the incident stemmed from an argument between 2 brothers that led to a stabbing. The younger son barricaded inside with his father-both were found deceased. The older brother was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Two other apartments at the complex were damaged, according to HPD.
Officials say both brothers and their father resided in the apartment together. Police say that their mother was not present at the apartment during the incident.
