Houston Police have been investigating a claim that the body of a man was dumped on a southwest Houston apartment complex property.
They were called Saturday afternoon to the apartments not far from Rampart St. at Gulfton, where a woman told them she had witnessed the dumping.
It appeared the body had suffered trauma, police say, but they weren't immediately able to confirm that the man was dead when he was dropped off at the property, but it was clear he had died within a period of hours before they arrived.
Investigators are looking for clues to the man's identity and to the cause of death.
