With less than 3 months to go now until the November midterms, a conservative political commentator has a warning for Republicans.
Lee Hartley Carter, the founder and CEO of the Carter Intelligence Group says Democrats and 'DSA' candidates are winning, because they are winning the main message on affordability.
"They're answering a very real question that Americans have, can we do better for the people than we are right now" Carter said, adding that while Republicans have a 'menu' of key issues, the Dems have honed in on one message.
"They're addressing their biggest problems, and people feel heard and seen, and part of a large movement" noted Carter, "And so I think that's really what's at stake."
She says the GOP has to counter that message with a better one, before November.
"I think the Democrats are answering head on, and I think Republicans right now are shying away from it a little bit because they're in charge" said Carter, "I think they're afraid to say anything really about it, or enough about it because they're going to say they're the ones that are going to be blamed for it. But it's a big mistake."
And a big issue and story, as we countdown to what some are calling the most important midterm elections of our lifetime.
