More Calls For Republicans To Focus On The Economy Ahead Of 2026 Midterms

Even though the Democrats did what they were supposed to earlier this month, winning some of the elections in blue states, some conservatives are calling out Republicans ahead of next year's midterms.

"Americans aren't going to care about what Biden did, or what happened in 2022" said Kenneth Rapoza, political analyst for the Coalition For A Prosperous America, "We want some relief now, and the Trump administration has to address that."

Thankfully, President Trump is already doing so now.

"What Trump has to do is explain that the cost of living is rising most in blue cities, and blue states. Not because of tariffs" Rapoza told KTRH.

Affordability is going to be -the- issue for 2026, with less than a year to go until the midterms.

"The Democrats are going to make cost of living their winning message, they're going to attack Trump with this cost of living narrative" noted Rapoza, "Make it known that the cost of living is worse in blue cities and states, throw it back in the Democrats face. Have them explain why their cities and states are the worst for cost of living."

Voters are not going to care who caused the inflation, they just want to know who is going to fix it.
