Democrats Bragging About Election Wins That Change Absolutely Nothing

The Democrats, who are clearly not used to winning anything, have been taking victory laps over their election wins earlier this month. New York City, Virginia, and New Jersey all decided to go with leftist candidates for various positions, and the Democrats have been bragging nonstop about it. They claim this is the "end of MAGA," and think there is tons of momentum behind them.

Because they live in a world of delusion, they fail to see the reality of the situation. The wins they picked up, while it was in convincing fashion, do absolutely nothing to move the needle. In fact, no one was surprised on election night outside of the Democrats, which says a lot about the state of the party.

They might think this is the beginning of some massive swing in American politics. Political strategist Vlad Davidiuk says them winning these races is exactly what was expected.

"What we saw are leftist cities and states...select leftist policies and leftist leaders...so really, nothing has changed," he says.

That is why nothing was surprising to literally anyone on election night. Blue states and cities do as blue states and cities does. The Democrats claim these as huge wins when in reality, it is nothing more than keeping the status quo in areas that are too far gone mentally to see logic.

It is similar to if Republicans went taking victory marches over a GOP candidate winning an election in Texas. We are known as a red state, and that result would do nothing to sway any momentum. That is exactly the situation the Democrats are in but are too blinded by cognitive dissonance to see it.

The lone "surprise" was New York City electing a full-blown communist in Zohran Mamdani, or as he labeled himself, a "Democrat socialist." Even that was not a shock in the sense of it being an upset. It was more shocking because New York elected a Muslim mayor, who downplayed 9/11, just 20 years removed from the attack. But the chickens are going to come home to roost for them.

"The policies and leadership selected by these locations have already been proven to be a failed approach...[Mamdani] is doomed to fail," says Davidiuk. "Because every single promise he has made it completely out of reach without bankrupting the city."

All of these candidates also won specifically because of a large foreign voter base, and a big turnout from Democrats. All of it in the goal to "stick it" to President Trump. What they really did was stick it to themselves.

You would think they had learned their lesson after their embarrassing showing in 2024. But Democrats just do not have the brain capacity to learn from mistakes or change anything.

"They are hoping to repackage some of these failed policies and failed ideas...to motivate the base voter of the left," Davidiuk says.

Just like their campaign strategy last year, it is doomed to fail once again in the midterms. But they will keep taking these victory laps as if they won something. Really, all they have done is set up these places for failure that will take years to undo.
