As the Democrats continue to shutdown the government over healthcare benefits for illegal aliens, many federal workers are missing paychecks and many government services have been forced to stop.
But that has not stopped many illegal aliens from being fed on U.S. tax dollars, via SNAP benefits.
"The SNAP benefit for a family of four is $975 dollars a month" said Beth Brejle, award winning reporter with The Federalist, "So, that's like $11,700 dollars in free food a year."
Illegal aliens are not eligible to receive SNAP benefits, unless they use a nice loophole from the left.
"They're not eligible for SNAP, but they get it because they had children while in the United States" Brejle told KTRH, "And so their kids are eligible to get SNAP."
And if you think it's no big deal, think again, before making a SNAP judgement.
"$225 dollars a week" noted Brejle, "And in addition to SNAP, all children who come from households that receive SNAP are eligible for free lunch and usually free breakfast. So, mom and dad really only have to pay for dinner and snacks."
It makes you wonder, how many U.S. families could benefit from $975 for groceries each month?
According to the data, 59% of illegal alien households receive some form of taxpayer funded welfare every single month.
