Saturday night partygoers in one South Park neighborhood are recovering from a scary scene where gunshots were fired.
One young woman was injured but investigators say they believe she'll be okay.
One witness who attended said there was alcohol and loud music in an area next to a park, adjacent to Kelso Elementary School, near the South Loop 610 at Martin Luther King Blvd.
When the shots rang out, people scattered, leaving cups and beer cans through the area, but police did spot some shell casings and are trying to find out why the shooting happened and who did the shooting.
