Illegals Caught in Social Security Scam, But What About This Other Threat?

A Social Security identity theft scam has been busted by agents of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), but there are many more schemes and teams of illegal aliens in the crosshairs.

Breitbart Associate Editor Bob Price says it's remarkable that in less than 100 days the Trump administration has brought down the number of illegal southern US border crossings.

And ICE said it recently arrested 18 illegal immigrants, including nationals from Honduras, Mexico and Guatemala, and they're being charged with aggravated identity theft, Social Security numbers misuse, and making false statements about citizenship to obtain unlawful employment.

"You've already seen the border slammed shut to the point where we've gone from over 5,000 a day crossing the border and being apprehended by the Biden administration, down now to about 230, 240 a day crossing the border, and that's the entire Southwest border. We used to get groups of 300, 400, 500, 600 that would cross just at one time in one single place, Eagle Pass, Texas.

"Now this recent discovery that the Biden administration was facilitating illegal aliens getting Social Security benefits, it's just atrocious," Mr. Price says.

There are plenty more scams to be discovered, he adds, and then there's the dilemma of what to do about the possible threats from foreign governments that have their people inside our border already.

"Hundreds of thousands of Chinese nationals crossed the border illegally, most of them military age males and paying cartels up to $50,000 a head to be smuggled into the United States.

"So where does a 25-to-30-year-old Chinese male come up with that kind of money to pay these cartels?"
