A Ring security camera caught someone setting fire to the back seat of a car, and now Waller County Fire Marshal's office investigators want to know who it was.
The camera took a video of the incident about 11 Thursday night, which was later shared on social media by the fire marshal.
In it, a person in a black hoodie with black sneakers and blue pants is seen walking up to the car, which was parked on the driveway of a home.
That person opens a back seat window and appears to throw an object he set on fire into the back seat.
He or she then runs to a white midsized car parked nearby and drives away.
The Waller County Fire Marshal is asking anyone who might have information about this crime to call Chief Dean Hensley at 979-826-7785
