A Houston man is in critical condition in a hospital after being shot multiple times as he was parked on a city street.
He was driving an Ace Mobile Mechanics SUV, stopped to pick someone up on Houston's north side Saturday morning about 11.
While he waited in the company vehicle on the side of Eubanks Street near Irvington, witnesses said a vehicle pulled up next to him and fired several shots into the SUV, including four shots into the front windshield, according to Houston Police investigators.
The shooter and his vehicle then just sped away.
EMS arrived a short time later and took the victim to a hospital, where he was listed Saturday evening in critical condition.
Police are searching for a motive, an identification of the car and a description of the shooter, but so far there aren't many clues.
