On Fox News with KTRH's Sean Hannity, Abbott said that such divisive rhetoric proves the Democrats have no positive vision to offer the country, only "hate" and "disrespect."
Crockett later attempted to clarify her comment, claiming it was about Abbott’s controversial migrant relocation policies, not his disability. However, her initial insult drew backlash from conservatives, including Rep. Randy Weber, who is pushing for a censure resolution against Crockett for her “venomous rhetoric.”
Governor Abbott called on voters to reject hateful politics and focus on solutions that benefit all Americans.
