A man is in custody after leading sheriff's deputies on a 40 minute chase from Fort Bend County to Harris County.
Sometime after 2 Saturday morning law officers tried to pull over that man in a black vehicle but he kept driving.
Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies say they chased the man and were joined by Harris County Sheriff's deputies when the chase crossed the county line.
Deputies were led for about 25 miles until the suspect hit a utility pole on West Hardy not far from Little York, according to Harris County deputies.
The collision resulted in a number of traffic lights in the area to go dark or start blinking.
The driver was taken to a hospital, but there's been no word on his condition.
Charges against him are pending.
