There Are Growing Concerns About A Possible EMP Attack On The U.S.

In addition to all of the fighting in the Middle East, and Ukraine, there are growing concerns about another possible threat here in the U.S.

That threat would be called an E-M-P threat.

"EMP stands for electro magnetic pulse weapon, which is actually detonating a small nuclear weapon 200 miles out in space" said author and historian, William Forstchen, who says one of those bombs hitting the U.S. would be beyond devastating.

"When it hits the earth's surface, it blows out the power grid underneath" Forstchen told KTRH, "Such an attack on the United States would kill 80-90% of our population."

And those threats that he mentioned, are from North Korea and Iran.

"This is definitely not a game, it's taken very seriously" noted Forstchen, "President Trump has proposed the 'golden dome' or gold dome system. We need a strategic defense system that can prevent such an attack on the United States."

He says the time for Congress to act is now.
