Days after one accused cop killer was allowed to post bond, a Harris County judge sets bond for his co-defendant.
Harris County District Court Judge Hilary Unger set bond at $3 million for Ronald Palmer Jr., charged with capital murder in the killing of Harris County Deputy Fernando Esqueda, after his co-defendant’s release on a combined $1 million bond sparked outrage.
This move, just as it did when Dremone Francis posted bond, did not go over well in the law enforcement community.
"This judge has chosen to provide rights for these animals that gunned down a deputy," HPOU President Doug Griffith told Fox News on Friday. "This is just abhorrent."
