For years, 'MAGA' has been the political theme for president Donald Trump. But is it now America's political mainstream? Political writer and author, and retired professor, Michael Zey believes the answer is yes, and he wrote about it for American Thinker.
"It wasn't just the results of the election though, as I point out" Zey said, "This was a pretty robust win, and getting the popular vote was a critical turning point."
It was actually -who- voted for Trump, and what the Democrats wanted people to vote for, that really made 'MAGA' the new mainstream.
"Trump actually saw the opportunity to double down on the America first concept, which is basically just economic prosperity that's going to appeal to people across the board" Zey told KTRH, "Then I started going into the numbers and I realized that this is a very real thing."
It's real, it's here, and now it's up to Trump and more importantly the other Republicans, to keep the MAGA momentum going.
"I think he's got a timeline here, and they really have to come through with these promises" noted Zey.
Meanwhile, the Democrat Party has reached it's lowest approval rating in 30 years.
