According to a new media report, there has been a rise of young Republicans on college campuses across the country, who are no longer afraid to speak the truth and let their voices be heard.
Even here in Texas.
"Oh yes, most definitely" said Courtney Trevino, president of the Young Republicans of Houston, "I think that young people are realizing that they want to live in the same America that their parents grew up in."
Once upon a time, the Democrats were considered the party of the people, and in 2020 it was young people that helped Joe Biden win. But not this time, as Trump picked up massive numbers and won by double digits with both young voters, and first time voters.
And now for the first time in a long time, young people are proud to be Republicans, even at radical left universities.
"It is exciting to see the young people being able to join their college Republican groups and get active, and to be involved in campaigns. Just stuff that they've never done before" Trevino told KTRH.
In addition to the increases on campus, the young Republicans are really growing here in Houston.
"We have had record attendance in our events" noted Trevino, "We are very involved with the GOP, and I think that we're just not afraid to engage in those conversations anymore."
