As promised, president Donald Trump has already started delivering on his promise to secure the border. Reporter and writer Beth Brelje wrote a list of 9 ways Trump has begun, and topping the list was declaring a national emergency at the border.
"This is definitely something voters put at the top of their list of things they wanted Trump to address" Brelje said, "It directs the Department Of Defense to send members of the armed forces to the border. There's a lot more military involvement under Trump."
And it's a complete contrast to Joe Biden, and the wide open border policy. Trump is also bringing back the death penalty for illegals who commit certain crimes.
"He's going to say that if you're in this country illegally, and you kill certain law enforcement officers or there's certain crimes that you commit while you're here illegally, that's going to be death penalty. So it's another deterrent."
That along with ending catch and release, birthright citizenship for children of illegals, and in another move that Biden would not do, Trump is declaring the cartels and gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.
