Trump is likely to face many obstacles in his efforts to secure the border, and one of them is sure to be non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that have been helping to fund and provide for illegal immigrants. These NGOs have been incentivizing illegal immigration with your tax dollars.

Todd Bensman with the Center for Immigration Studies said that most of the money for these organizations goes through the U.N., which then sends it back to these NGOs, but a good portion of it also comes directly from the U.S. State Department.

The good news is, the Republican-controlled Congress is already getting to work on this. Bensman said, "There are bills that have been pitched, and will be pitched again, to defund the U.N. if it uses taxpayer money in this way."

He went on to say that cutting these organizations off would go a long way toward slowing down the flow of illegal immigrants into the United States. He said, "There are probably people making the journey who would not have made the journey if there was a little more food insecurity, or a little more uncertainty about where they would stay."
