Biden Was Unpopular Because of Bad Policy, Not Bad Messaging

The newest excuse from Democrats as to why President Joe Biden's popularity rating is so low: bad messaging.

As he makes his way towards the White House exit sign, Biden said in a recent interview that Americans just didn't understand what the Democrat Party did for them over the past four years, seeming to downplay their bad policies, which resulted in losing the executive and legislative branches. Their poor leadership and bad policy has resulted in inflation and higher costs for goods and services, a wide open southern border with millions of illegal migrants flooding in, and weakness shown to our foreign allies and adversaries in places like the Middle East.

A recent poll shows that 54 percent of Americans say they will remember Biden as a below average or poor president, numbers the country hasn't seen for a president since Richard Nixon. His approval rating in January is floating around 38 and 41 percent. GOP pollster Mitchell Brown said that number could drop to around 35 percent if Trump has a good first year back in office.

"Biden is going to go down as one of the least favorable presidencies in American history," Brown said on Fox News earlier this week.

Not helping in Biden's popularity are his recent attempts to sabotage and make things more difficult for the incoming Trump administration during the days and weeks before they arrive in Washington. This has set them back in trying to get their agenda going, especially when it comes to fixing illegal immigration and securing the southern border.

"Trump has all the strong footing he needs to go out and execute this mandate on day one," Brown added, saying the American people voted for this mandate for Trump.

To cap off his four years as president, Biden said in his farewell address from the Oval Office that the country is at a threat of turning into an oligarchy.

"Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that really threatens our entire democracy of basic rights and freedom and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead," Biden said Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Biden awarded the Medal of Freedom to George Soros, one of the richest donors to the Democrat party ever, and a pardon to his own son Hunter on federal felony gun and tax convictions, after repeatedly claiming he wouldn't do so.

Political analyst Jake Novak said Biden failed incredibly as president, while most likely not being the true person running the country.

"I have no idea who's actually been running it, this anonymous committee that's been running this White House and this party," said Novak.

It will be back to the drawing board for the Democrat Party to figure out who will be their face moving forward into 2028. Novak said the playbook of running older, career-long politicians with not very many accomplishments to their resume is not going to cut it.

"They actually have to have a charismatic and maybe even an accomplished person to be their candidate," he said.
