While many questions still remain following the deadly attack in New Orleans, one thing is now clear. ISIS is back in business.
"It should have been a reminder that they continue to reconstitute themselves" said Ed Turzanski, national security analyst, "They're self motivated, and that's what makes this so very difficult."
Having a wide open border over the last 4 years has made it even worse, except for the thousands of terror threats that are now in the country illegally.
"We continue to be a target, because our borders continue to be porous" Turzanski told KTRH, "Tom Homan's got a lot of work to do in that respect."
But Trump's return to the White House will be a huge game changer, as we saw with the cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas.
"The incoming administration is much more willing to use force" noted Turzanski, "In the last 4 years we've broadcast weakness, and weakness is provocative."
While the turnaround starts next week, Turzanski says we can expect terror groups to also re-group.
