Joe Biden hasn't even left the White House yet, but critics are already teeing off on his legacy. PJ Media is compiling a list of what people will miss least about Biden, from his failed policies to his stammering, awkward, gaffe-filled speeches. And the public seems to agree. A new Gallup poll finds a majority of Americans rate Biden's presidency as "poor" or "below average." Only 6 percent of Americans rate Biden's record as "outstanding," and his net -35 rating is the second worst of any modern president in the survey, behind only Richard Nixon.
Ranking the Biden failures is a difficult task, according to Andrea Widburg, writer and editor at the American Thinker. But she attempts to, starting with foreign policy. "Overseas he's made it much more dangerous, with the Middle East in flames, " she says. "He's turned Ukraine into a sinkhole, he's emboldened Russia and China into a powerful alliance."
Widburg tells KTRH Biden's domestic policy record is equally abysmal. "He's empowered organizations which favor crime, his lawfare against Donald Trump has destroyed the notion of the rule of law, his policies have damaged the economy profoundly, he's wiped out the border," she says. "At every level he's been horrible."
"I could keep going, but he's been the most spectacularly disastrous president ever," she continues.
All of that said, Widburg does find one big positive from the Biden presidency. "As bad as he was, he may also be the best thing that's happened to us in the 21st century, because people needed to see what leftism was," she says. "Having Joe Biden come into office and allowing leftists to explode across every aspect of American domestic and foreign policy forced reality on people...and now we have Trump again."
