New York State Attorney General Letitia James has announced that she will not be dropping her civil fraud case against President-elect Donald Trump. She says his victory on November 5th does not make him immune from civil lawsuits.

Trump has already been ordered to pay $454 million in the case; Trump has appealed that ruling to the New York appellate courts.

Many of the other cases against Trump, which he maintains were all political efforts to hurt his presidential campaign, have already been either suspended indefinitely or dropped altogether. However, the NY Attorney General's office says they won't take action to drop this civil fraud case.

The AG's office says that currently, they are waiting for the results of Trump's appeal, and waiting for that result won't hurt Trump's ability to serve as President.
