Despite what mainstream media might have told you, Trump's "Mass Deportation" plan is quite popular, and Americans expect him to follow through with it. So, how will Trump go about deporting the millions of illegal aliens in the United States?
Turns out, it might be easier than you think. Immigration policy expert Jessica Vaughan told KTRH that Trump just needs to prioritize. She said, "The highest priority is going to be people who are identified, who come to ICE's attention because they've committed other crimes and been arrested."
Trump has also stated that he will use the military to assist with these mass deportations. Vaughan mentioned that military personnel and resources will most likely be used to support Department of Homeland Security officials. She explained, "The most likely way that's going to play out is potentially having bases used as temporary holding facilities for people who are going to be moved."
According to Vaughan, however, Trump might not need to do all the work himself. She believes that once laws already on the books that prevent illegal aliens from holding jobs or driver's licenses are enforced, many might choose to leave on their own.
Vaughan said, "Many illegal aliens will see the writing on the wall. And if they can't get a job, can't get a driver's license, can't live here with impunity anymore, then they're going to make the choice to go home on their own." She thinks that the number of illegal aliens who "self-deport" could end up being larger than the number deported by the Trump Administration.
