President-elect Donald Trump has officially won the battleground state of Nevada.
The Associated Press called Nevada for Trump at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday. The win adds six electoral votes to his running count, giving him 301. Arizona is the lone state left to be called for a presidential candidate. It has 11 electoral votes and went to Biden in 2020 by less than 11,000 votes. As of Saturday morning, Trump led the swing state by more than six points.
Trump lost the Silver State in 2020 to President Joe Biden by about 33,000 votes (2.4%). Trump flipped the state and won it over Vice President Kamala Harris by just over three points.
Democrat's have had a stronghold on the state for quite some time with their candidate winning their in every presidential election since 1992, except for the two elections with Republican President George W. Bush on the ballot.
Both Harris and Trump visited Nevada multiple times in the final weeks leading up to the election.
