We all know that Donald Trump plans to turn the economy around when he returns to office, but what will that mean for small businesses, not only across the United States, but here in Texas?
"We're very excited about it" said Jeff Burdett, state director for the NFIB (National Federation of Independent Business), "And I'll tell you that our business owners that I've talked to, small businesses all across Texas, are very excited."
As for what Trump will be able to do for small businesses?
"Making permanent the 20% small business tax deduction that's set to expire next year at the end of 2025" Burdett told KTRH, "It's the regulations and taxes that we expect that will decrease under this leadership."
You can add to that a major boost to the small business optimism index, which has been below average for 33 consecutive months. That's not good.
But a Trump presidency will be good, for everybody. And don't forget, small business Saturday is coming up on Saturday, November 30th.
