Almost one-third of Texas' registered voters have already cast a ballot in the 2024 presidential race, and according to new data, Republicans currently have a nearly 1.1 million vote lead over the Democrats in early voting.
According to Ryan Data & Research, by Monday, the 28th, 1,894,070 early voters had already voted in Republican primaries, and did not have any history of voting in Democratic primaries.
However, there is a large number of voters who have previously voted in both party primaries or none at all. Those voters make up more than 2.3 million ballots.
While it's difficult to make predictions based on those numbers alone, Republican leaders in Texas are confident that both former President Trump and Senator Ted Cruz will win the state comfortably.
