The media and the left-wing establishment have done their best to try and shut Trump down, but he seems to just get more popular with every hit piece they release on him. So are these attacks against Trump actually helping him win voters?
Maxim Lott, founder of electionbettingodds.com, told KTRH they are having an effect. He said, "There is definitely this kind of comeback narrative, where you know, he was kind of in the wilderness for four years. I think there is kind of this underdog factor."
On top of that, Lott says that attacks against Trump just aren't enough to get voters to forget about the issues they're facing, as well as her own radical record. He said, "There's been really high inflation under Biden, and the border wasn't under control. Trump is also running ads pointing out how she's very extreme."
Lott says that Kamala Harris was simply a weak candidate for the Democrats, and as a result, they've been forced to spend the election cycle attempting to distract voters. He says that's a failing strategy, and the result is Trump's 62% lead in the betting odds.
