Vice President Kamala Harris is in Houston today for a rally with details being held quiet until late Thursday. The Vice President landed at Hobby Airport around 10pm Thursday. An advisory emailed out from the Houston Police Department Thursday shows the rally will be held at Shell Energy Stadium in East Downtown.
Country music legend Willie Nelson and Popstar Beyonce are expected be at today’s event, a buzz that should draw a large crowd. Texas Senate candidate Democrat Colin Allred is also expected join Harris today. Fencing and portable restrooms were being placed near the venue on Thursday evening.
