Conservative organizations across the country are having their bank accounts shut down by major banks like JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America. This looks exactly like what happened to the Freedom Convoy in Canada.

Political consultant Nick Lindquist said, "The government, the powers that be in the banking industry, did not like what the Freedom Convoy was doing in Canada, and just cut off their financial resources."

Among the organizations targeted by big banks in America is the National Committee for Religious Freedom (NCRF). They were informed that JP Morgan Chase was going to shut down their account unless they provided Chase with a list of donors who contributed to the organization. NCRF declined.

Another Christian organization dedicated to training pastors faced similar debanking at the hands of Bank of America. They had their credit cards restricted all the way back in late 2020.

Lindquist says that these big banks are counting on conservatives not pushing back against their overreach. He said, "If something like this were to threaten their futures, I think that would be huge. And they might actually reverse some of this stuff if we try hard enough."

Lindquist also said that if enough noise is made, and the election goes well, we could see federal legislation against this type of political discrimination. Legislation to that effect has already been pushed in Florida, and multiple state attorneys general have signed a letter warning banks not to participate in political discrimination.
