Vice President Kamala Harris is facing criticism for comments she directed towards pro-life protesters at one of her rallies this week.
Harris was in the middle of speaking to supporters in Wisconsin Thursday about expanding abortion rights.
"We will move forward because ours is a fight for the future, and it is a fight for freedom. Like the fundamental freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body and not have her government tell her what to do," Harris said.
Harris held her rally there instead of attending the Al Smith Catholic charity dinner in New York. She's the first presidential candidate to skip out on the dinner in 40 years.
"We remember Donald Trump hand-selected three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade, and they did as he intended," Harris added.
Harris was then interrupted by anti-abortion protesters and said, "Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally."
Some on social media claim that one of the protesters shouted, "Jesus is Lord," to which Harris went on to say, "I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street," referring to a Trump rally.
