It shouldn't come as a surprise, but according to a new Gallup poll, one in three Americans don't trust the mainstream media at all anymore. That's probably because the media isn't even trying to hide its left-wing bias.
Professor Jeff McCall from DePauw University told KTRH, "It's not particularly surprising. We still see evidence of it right now. You have CBS editing a 60 Minutes interview to make Kamala Harris look better."
According to the Gallup survey, the number of people who say they have a "great deal" or "fair amount" of trust in the media to report the news "fully, accurately, and fairly" is down to a record low of just 31 percent.
McCall says this is leading people to completely tune out from the news. He said that's fine if the news is biased, but on the other hand, "then we have a lot of Americans who don't even want to become informed about the issues of the day."
Unsurprisingly, Gallup reports that 54 percent of Democrats still have a "great deal" of trust in the media.
