As polls start to look worse and worse for the Democrats, they are now trying to lock on to power in the Federal Judiciary in case Trump manages to win. They want to make it harder to file appeals with conservative judges.
They plan to do this by randomly assigning cases to judges throughout the district where cases are filed, rather than assigning them to judges representing the division where the cases are filed.
Gary Polland, publisher of The Texas Conservative Review, told KTRH, "They're not satisfied now to just try to find a friendly judge. They want to be able to stack the deck so they can ensure they get a friendly judge who will hamstring the Trump agenda."
Polland says this just goes to show where the Democrats' priorities really are. He said, "They're interested in power, and they want total and complete power in the country. And to send the rest of us who are moderates and conservatives packing."
Polland also warned that this is a good indicator that if Trump does manage to win next month's general election, we can expect four more years of lawfare against him and his administration.
