It's that time of year again. Once again, the media is pushing the narrative that Russian bots are influencing the election and spreading propaganda. But just like in previous years, there's not much to worry about.
Curtis Houk with MRC News Busters told KTRH, "It is pharisaical to suggest that some random accounts are going to tip the scales of this otherwise highly contested election."
Houk says this is just the same tired excuse the left has been using since 2016. He added, "The left spent four years undermining Donald Trump, suggesting that his presidency was illegitimate because they can't get over the fact that they lost."
He says that while there may be some bot accounts on social media, they won't have much influence on the outcome of the November election since the majority of voters made up their minds months ago.
