The left has pushed the narrative that mass immigration is a huge advantage for America's economy, but that's not really the case. Immigrants are portrayed as being a significant economic boost, but they don't add much.
Former Immigration Attorney Matt O'Brian told KTRH, "This latest group of people that is coming are individuals who have very few job skills and very few ways to contribute to the economy."
He says these people usually just end up taking advantage of America's immigration and benefit systems. He added, "Taxpayers in the United States are subsidizing people who have no formal connection to the United States and are essentially trespassers."
O'Brian says that by incentivizing bad behavior, we've created an immigration system that rewards people for breaking the law and coming here illegally.
