After drawing 15,000 to a rally in Coachella, California on Saturday, Donald Trump wraps up his weekend out west with a rally in Arizona, a state he lost in 2020.
On Saturday, Trump made note of the failed California policies that have resulted in hundreds of thousands of people leaving the state over the past few years. He said "we've got to make it better."
"The Republican party will always put Americans first," Trump told California supporters. "We have become the party of common sense."
Trump referred to Vice President Kamala Harris and California Governor Gavin Newsome's "radical left" policies as the reason for the state becoming what he calls a "paradise lost." He also mentioned the state's crazy high cost of living, rampant crime and illegal migrant situation.
"To everyone here in California and all across our nation, I make this pledge to you. November 5th, 2024 will be liberation day in America," Trump said.
