Police in California say they believe they thwarted a third assassination attempt on Donald Trump this weekend.
Riverside County Sheriff's say they arrested a man near Coachella, just minutes before Trump was set to speak there, on charges of possessing multiple guns illegally.
Vem Miller was found with multiple guns, fake passports, and an unregistered vehicle with a fake license plate.
The motive behind why he had the guns and other materials has not been determined, but police there say they believe he was going to make an attempt on Trump's life.
Miller was arrested, but according to online records, he was released on Sunday on a $5,000 bond.
Miller has since spoken to Fox News digital, and has denied all the accusations against him, and claimed to be an ardent supporter of former President Trump. He said, "Yes, I'm 100% a Trump supporter."
Miller says he has been a strong supporter of Trump since 2018, after working in Hollywood and leaning towards democrats.
Miller also told Fox News that the guns he had in his car where all legal, and that he reported them to authorities at a checkpoint to get in to Trump's Coachella rally. He said he always travels with them in the back of his truck because of death threats he receives, but he has never fired them.
Miller also claimed that non of his documents where fake, he simply has some that use his full Armenian name, and others that don't.
