Verizon Wireless customers nationwide are reporting outages in cellular service.
The website DownDetector.com reported outages from New York to Los Angeles.
In a statement to CBS News, the wireless company said, “We are aware of an issue impacting service for some customers," a spokesperson said. "Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue."
