Democrats are usually the ones who focus on mail-in and early voting, but now the Democrat lead in mail-in voting requests is shrinking fast. This is a sign that the Trump team is doing something right.
Neil Chatterjee, a former Trump administration official, told KTRH, "His campaign is doing the work to get people out and bank that early vote. And I think it could be really critical in some of those swing states."
Chatterjee also said this is a sign that Trump could end up having a huge victory in November, despite polls predicting a tight race. He added, "I think the polling has been way off. I think pollsters have still, a decade later, not figured out how to accurately poll Trump."
In the swing state of North Carolina, the Democrat lead in requests for mail-in ballots has dropped by as much as 15 percent, while in Pennsylvania, it's decreased by a full 35 percent.
