Former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump is pulling ahead of Kamala Harris in key swing states, according to new polling from The New York Times. The poll, conducted from September 17-21, covers the swing states of Georgia, Arizona, and North Carolina.
The results show that in Arizona, Trump currently holds a five-point lead over the Vice President, with a spread of 50% to 45%. In Georgia, he has a nearly five-point lead at 49% to 45%. His lead in North Carolina is smaller, where he sits at 49% compared to Harris’ 47%.
According to a Fox News national poll, Harris holds a two-point lead over Trump in the popular vote. This closely mirrors the 2016 election, where Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by two points but still lost the electoral college.
