Inflation continues to rise, and Americans are struggling to pay for everything. On top of that, medical costs could eat up 40 percent of your income by 2030. You can thank the government for the skyrocketing costs of medical care.

RNC Committeeman and practicing medical doctor Robin Armstrong told KTRH, "We are not in a free market system in healthcare right now. So we have a very government-controlled system, which has caused prices to become overinflated."

Armstrong says the way things are headed right now, this is going to cause a crisis in the United States. He said, "Healthcare is going to bankrupt our country. People are going to die. We're going to start seeing people not live as long, and we're going to start seeing mortality rates go up."

Armstrong said the clear way to solve this problem is to introduce more free market principles into the healthcare industry.
