No Climate Policy Change: Kamala Harris Still Supports Net Zero

It was one of the many policy positions that was not brought up during the debate, but it's one issue that we do know where Kamala Harris stands. Her "positions" haven't changed, and that includes the radical 'Net Zero' energy policy.

"It's mostly appealing to their base" said Brent Bennett with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, "Net Zero was created as a political goal. There is nothing scientific about it."

But there is a purpose behind it. To destroy the oil and gas industry, while harming the Texas electrical grid.

"They're going to try to do as much as they can within the limits of what they can get through the courts" Bennett told KTRH, "The real goal is incrementalism, it's not that these net zero goals will actually be achieved. It's just tightening the noose on our energy sector gradually."

At the same time, energy prices are going to continue to rise, and will become an issue that we have never seen before here in the U.S.

"The rich will be able to afford paying their bill and they'll have the energy, and the poor are going to have to ration their energy use" noted Bennett. "That's really where I think this is heading, and it's what we need to watch out for here in Texas too."

We need more reliable energy, which is not part of the Harris plan.
