According to a new Pew Research poll, 58 percent of Republicans view themselves as "traditional," while just 19 percent of Democrats say the same thing. So what does this sharp divide mean for the election?
Political consultant Catherine Frazier told KTRH, "Voters, whether or not they identify as traditional or not, they do care about those common denominator issues like inflation and border security."
Frazier says that this is creating a real problem for the Democrats. She said, "I would argue that Democrats' failure to focus on traditional values will hurt them in the long run. But that's kind of what this election will decide."
Frazier says that traditional or not, Americans can see that Harris and the Democrats have made things like the economy and the border crisis worse.
