A day after a 14-year-old opened fire at a Georgia high school, the boy's father has been arrested, and faces 15 charges, including second degree murder.
Collin Gray faces four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children. That comes about after the FBI says they flagged the shooter in 2023 and interviewed both the boy and his father about threats made online about school shootings.
Gray admitted to buying the AR style rifle, which was used in the school shooting, as a gift for his son in December of 2023. That was just a few months after the FBI interviewed them.
Meanwhile, the 14-year-old shooter faces four felony murder charges, and will be tried as an adult. Four people were killed, with nine injured, after he opened fire at Apalachee High School in Winder, about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta.
