A criminal illegal alien on the Texas DPS 10 Most Wanted List has been arrested in Houston. Texas Department of Public Safety says 20-year-old Jose Miguel Zelaya-Ponce was wanted in Harris County for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14.
He was originally arrested by Customs and Border Protection and ordered removed back in April 2021, but was later released on parole. He was placed on the Texas 10 Most wanted list in July of 2024. The Texas Rangers and the Texas-Anti Gang Center assisted the DPS in locating and arresting Zelaya-Ponce.
