Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick says Democrats are not going to get away with moves to make the election playing field uneven in November.

Patrick talked to Newsmax about what he described as widespread voter manipulation and fraud orchestrated by Democratic leaders, particularly in blue counties and states. Patrick pointed to a voter security bill passed in 2021 as a key measure to combat such practices and ensure election integrity.

But he also says Democrats in Harris County are trying to get around state law.

"In that county, they still want to send out mail out ballots to people, you know, automatically as opposed to them being requested. It is a constant fight. The Democrats are very good at pushing the envelope and saying, 'Oh, if we get caught, we didn't know. You know, we didn't know.' And so, imagine when you add up all those votes from people that shouldn't have been on the voter rolls…" he said.

In fact, Democrats on Commissioners Court were called out earlier this week over 'Item 400.' They are trying to use a county department to send mail to homes without registered voters in an attempt to get people signed up to vote. Critics say that could lead to illegal aliens voting in our elections. And on Monday, Governor Greg Abbott announced that the state removed more than a million ineligible voters from the rolls.
