Proving yet again that the desperate Democrats will do anything to interfere with the election, and keep Donald Trump from returning to the White House, Special Counsel Jack Smith (who was appointed illegally) has secured a 'superseding indictment' for his alleged connection to the January 6th attack at the U.S. Capitol.
Trump is facing the same four felony counts he was previously charged with, with Smith claiming that Trump of resisting the peaceful transfer of power following the 2020 election.
A new federal grand jury in returned the indictment in Washington today. Meanwhile, prosecutors say they do not oppose waiving Trump's appearance at an arraignment on the new charging document, which will likely happen next week.
In the new indictment, Smith accuses Trump of using his role as a candidate for office, not as president of the United States, to overturn the election results.
